Talladega Police Department Issues Fraud Alert

The Talladega Police Department issues an urgent fraud alert to First National Bank customers. First National Bank is reporting a scam where customers and non-customers in the Talladega area are getting called and told their First National Bank of Talladega debit cards has been frozen due to fraud. The callers are asking customers for their 16 digit account number, expiration date and other information. According to officials, if there is ever a problem with your account or debit card, you will be notified by mail or a personal phone call. Authorities say, if you mistakenly gave them your card number, you should call immediately to have your card canceled.
