Two men from Marshall County are facing charges in connection with a case involving stolen farm equipment in six states. Jody D. Morgan and Steven Ray Parker, both of Albertville, have been charged with first-degree receiving stolen property. According to a news release, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency's Agricultural & Rural Crime Unit recovered 11 pieces of farm equipment worth a little more than $489,000. The agency says the equipment was stolen from Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Tennessee and North Carolina. Both men were booked at the Etowah County Detention Center with additional charges pending in Marshall County. Parker has been released on bond and Morgan is still being held in the Etowah County Detention Center.
