Center for Domestic Preparedness Property Purchase

The McClellan Development Authority concludes a transaction of a major purchase with the Center for Domestic Preparedness in a ceremonial event, today. The purchase increases the size of the C-D-P campus from 124 acres to 176 acres. And according to Center for Domestic Preparedness Superintendent, Mike King, it is a major success.

McClellan Development Authority Chairman, Phil Webb, says the work of the partnership with the C-D-P has continued through past board members to current ones. According to officials, the $3.5 million purchase will save the C-D-P money and they will be able to pay back the purchase price in less than seven years.
