Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance & Unlawful Posession of Drug Paraphernalia

Collinsville Police arrest two people on drug charges after a traffic stop near Collinsville. According to Collinsville Assistant Police Chief Rex Leath, an officer noticed a white Toyota 4Runner traveling West on Alabama Highway 68. The officer observed the vehicle cross over the center line and then stopped the vehicle. Upon a consent search of the vehicle, the officer uncovered drugs and drug paraphernalia – the officer found a glass pipe with powder residue inside. James Tucker of Lindale, Georgia and Matthew Farmer of Menlo, Georgia were identified and both suspects were charged with unlawful possession of controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were booked in the DeKalb County Detention Center, where they were awaiting bonds.
