Charged: Public Intoxication

A man is arrested for disorderly conduct and public lewdness after he exposes himself in front of an off-duty deputy and a child. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, after leaving his truck, an intoxicated John Pruitt approached an off-duty deputy, the deputy’s friend, and the deputy’s young daughter in the area of the Alexandria Sonic and proceeded to expose himself and urinate in front of them. When the off-duty deputy identified himself, Pruitt became belligerent.  According to Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Matthew Wade, Sheriff Larry Amerson has a long-standing policy that all off-duty deputies are to remain Pruitt was arrested for D-U-I, Disorderly Conduct, Public Lewdness, and Failure to Display a Driver’s License.
