GM Faulty Ignition Switches Death Claims

Tuesday, August 12, 2014

A fund set up by automaker G-M for its faulty ignition switches has received 63 death claims so far. That’s about five times more than 13 deaths the company has officially admitted to.  The fund began accepting claims August first and will continue to do so until the end of the year.  Victim compensation officials say people have filed more than one-hundred claims including fatality claims and they say claimants will get a response within three to four months of their submission.
