The City of Gadsden holds a ribbon-cutting ceremony for biking, walking and running trails on Black Creek Trail. According to officials with the City of Gadsden, the addition of multi-use trails for Black Creek Trail and Noccalula Falls Park will give visitors a greater opportunity to enjoy the area. Black Creek Trail now has a combined 6.6 miles of natural and rock trails. City of Gadsden Parks and Recreation Director, Kerry Payne says they will continue to add amenities like more campgrounds and campsites to improve the experience. The trails have been built for the last four to five months, but now they have new signage. There are color-coded trail markers and intersection signs throughout the course that will help people to know where they are.
