Citizen’s Advisory Group

Anniston city leaders are working to make sure their citizens remain safe.

At last night’s Anniston City Council work session, Brian Johnson, the Anniston City Manager recommended forming a citizen’s advisory group that would work with the police department to improve relationships and current department practices.

Ward 3 City Councilman, Seyram Selase says the group’s primary strategy would involve keeping the community informed. Selase says the Council will work to make a list of appointments to the group. On Monday, the council will vote on the proposal.
