Charged: Second Degree Theft

Authorities say that two women took pills from the apartment of a man after agreeing to have sex with him in exchange for money. Krystle Peppers and Cierra Blackwood, both of Gadsden were charged with second-degree theft of a controlled substance after they took pills from the home of an Attalla man. According to Attalla Police Chief Dennis Walker, both women are pregnant and face additional felony charges for chemical endangerment of a child after admitting to drug use and testing positive for amphetamines. Peppers and Blackwood have been sent to the Alethia House in Birmingham for treatment.
