Flu Outbreaks Begin As Early As October

According to the Centers for Disease Control, it’s time for people to start preparing for flu outbreaks.  Officials are warning that outbreaks usually begin as early as October. Public health officials, are urging everyone 6 months and older to get a flu shot beginning in early September.  The C-D-C says the earlier you get inoculated the better, because the flu shot will cover you throughout the season.  The agency says manufacturers have projected they will provide between 153 – 158 million doses of vaccine for the U.S. market.
