Authorities arrest a Rome, Georgia man in Cherokee County. Joseph Kennemer now faces charges in Floyd County Georgia. The charges stem from a high speed chase in Cherokee County last month. Kennemer was in possession of meth, cocaine and a semi-automatic weapon August 10th on Sike Story Road. He was later arrested that day in Cherokee County, after leading officers on a chase when they tried to stop him and another man on what was called a routine traffic stop. He’s now facing several charges including trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime and unlawful possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
