House Party Leads to Arrests

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office responds to complaints about ongoing house parties in the Painter community.  And on Sunday, they arrest 8 people at a gathering with more than 200 people.  Authorities say the house party at County Road 136 in the Painter Community included adults and some juveniles at the party.  Zachery Culpepper, Taylor Bruce, James Strange, and Sarah Upton were all arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of controlled Substance, Drug Paraphernalia, Second Degree Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Open House Parties. Five more individuals were arrested.  18-year-old Isaac Scroggins,18-year-old Levi Weems, and 19-year-old Dylan Tucker.  They were charged with Minor in Consumption. Amber Malone was also arrested for an outstanding Felony warrant and Christian Alvarado was arrested for Attempt to Elude Police. They were all transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center.
