Arne Duncan in Alabama
The U.S. Secretary of Education makes a stop in Alabama. Arne Duncan started his day in Birmingham where he participated in a roundtable discussion with Mayor William Bell. They're promoting President Obama's program to help young men called "My Brother's Keeper." From there, Duncan traveled to north Alabama where he held a town hall meeting with students at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center. Today's visits are part of the Education Secretary's annual bus tour. This year, the event is highlighting state-level programs to improve education.
