Indicted: Melody Warren

A former Calhoun County District Court assistant is facing felony ethics and theft charges.

A grand jury has indicted 52-year-old Melody Warren of Oxford on charges of using her position for personal gain and two counts of theft. Warren is accused of misusing more than $2,500 in court funds. According to Alabama Attorney General Luther Strange, Warren turned herself in at the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office and was later released on bond.
