Solar Flare From the Sun

There’s plenty of activity on the sun’s surface this week…And, NASA was there to capture it. NASA’S Solar Dynamics Observatory Spacecraft released an image of a solar flar that it caught mid-week. The photo came a day after another powerful solar flare. NASA says the flares pose no danger to anyone on Earth. Look for temporary disruptions of G-P-S signals, power grids and radio communications on Earth. The National Weather Service says the flare produces a coronal mass ejection.
