Chrysler Recalls More Than 200,000 Vehicles
The automaker Chrysler recalls more than 230,000 vehicles worldwide. The problem is a faulty fuel pump that could cause engines to stall. Officials say the recall affects specific 2011 Dodge Durangos and Jeep Grand Cherokees and the issue has not caused any known injuries or deaths. Chrysler says the issue stems from electronic circuitry that also helps to control the cars’ airbags and other functions. They add that those features aren’t affected. Chrysler customers will be contacted by the automaker for a schedule to fix the problem.
