Charged: Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor

Last Wednesday, a school bus driver in Anniston disregarded a fight between a 6th grade boy and an 8th girl that occurred on her bus. According to reports, she even glanced back at the fight through a school bus mirror and still did not intervene. Witnesses say the fight went on for more than five miles. A family member on the bus recorded the incident by phone. City of Anniston Public Information Officer, Aziza Jackson says the bus driver has now been identified. The bus driver is 57-year-old Larita Montgomery of Anniston. She was arrested on a warrant from authorities this morning and charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor. She has already posted bond.
