UPS Shooting Victims

UPS officials have identified the two employees shot and killed yesterday in Birmingham by a former employee. The company released a statement today identifying the victims as 46-year-old Brian Callans of Birmingham and 33-year-old Doug Hutcheson of Odenville. Callans was a business manager who had been with the company for 26 years. Hutcheson was a driver supervisor who had worked with the company for 15 years. Police say 45-year-old Joe Tesney walked into a package-processing facility yesterday morning and shot the two men before taking his own life. According to UPS officials, Tesney had been with the company for 21 years, but he had recently been fired.
