Today kicks off Restaurant Week in Calhoun County. The Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce will be presenting 19 of our region’s new and favorite premier dining facilities and their diverse culinary selections. This is the second year that restaurants are tempting “FOODIES” to set their taste buds on trying something special. Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Public Relations Coordinator, Emily Duncan, says that the size of our area has not discouraged participation. Restaurant week runs October 1 through October 11. The participating restaurants will have 1 or more specials for both lunch and/or dinner. Duncan says this week’s events are building up to the Taste of Calhoun County on October 21 at the 30th Annual Business Expo which will be held at the Anniston City Meeting Center.
