Superintendent Tommy Bice Coming To Calhoun County

 Alabama’s school superintendent will be in Calhoun County next week to talk about the future of the state’s education system. Doctor Tommy Bice will be at Jacksonville High School next Tuesday night at 6 to discuss his goal of preparing all high school students to be ready for college and careers. Among the topics to be addressed are student testing programs, parental involvement, and Alabama’s version of the Common Core initiative. The public is invited to the program, and Bice plans to take questions from the audience after his talk.
