Lincoln High School Wins Award of Excellence

Lincoln High School in Talladega County receives the 2014 Attorney General’s Safe Initiative Award of Excellence for Alabama State School District 3. Attorney General Luther Strange presented the school with the award, today. Strange says the awards are presented to schools that have performed exceptionally to provide a safe environment for students. Lincoln High School was selected as one of the eight schools in Alabama for 2014 because of its special emphasis on implementation of the Best Practices the Attorney General’s Office compiled based on last year’s recipients. School officials say the award is a compliment to the teachers, resource officers, and parents. Attorney General Strange is personally presenting the awards for the 2014 Awards of Excellence to the winning schools during the month of October.
