Update: Deputy Struck by Vehicle

And here is an update on the deputy struck by a vehicle yesterday. At approximately 6:15am on Monday, a deputy was struck by a vehicle while he was directing traffic at a wreck on Hwy 431 and Bynum-Leatherwood Road in Anniston. Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Matthew Wade says the deputy is seriously injured with numerous broken bones.  He is sedated and on a ventilator.
