Calhoun County Drug Roundup

The 7th Judicial Major Crimes Unit, formerly known as the Calhoun Cleburne County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force conducted a drug round up operation today. They received assistance from 10 police, sheriff, and judicial service agencies. In the roundup, Investigators attempted to serve 96 warrants on 71 people. 83 of those warrants are for the Unlawful Distribution, Trafficking or Manufacturing of Controlled Substances. The remaining 13 warrants were related to the Possession of Controlled Substances. At last count, 54 warrants had been served on 40 people.
