Murder Suspect in Cherokee County

One of the two men charged with murder for the death of a Cedar Bluff man is back in Cherokee County. 21-year-old Jeremiah Jackson was booked into the Cherokee County Jail Monday evening. At last check, his bond had not been set.  Jackson and 36-year-old Darrell Burgess are both charged with murder for the death of Billy Ingram.  Sheriff Jeff Shaver says Ingram was shot to death on October 20th at a home in the Farill Community.  The two suspects were taken into custody in Walker County, Georgia where Burgess remains while he fights extradition back to Alabama.
