Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Eric Patterson and canine "QT" are an intimidating team. Patterson says "QT" is specially trained to assist School Resource Officers. He can detect vapor weight and firearms. He adds that he is excited to be helping with the safety of our schools. Calhoun County Sheriff Larry Amerson will swear in "QT" as a Deputy Sheriff tomorrow. He will also present the canine with a star. Deputy Patterson and "QT’ are graduates of Auburn University’s A&M Canine Academy.
