The Downtown Market Awarded Grant

The Downtown Market in Anniston is getting a portion of the $52 million in grants to be awarded through the 2014 Farm Bill. The Downtown Market is set to receive more than $90,000 for 2015 and 2016. This two-year grant will be used to ensure that the market continues and works toward becoming more than just a summer market. The Downtown Market Steering Committee will meet on Tuesday, November 18, at 8 a.m., at the Quintard location of BB&T. The public is invited to attend and learn more about the plans for The Downtown Market.
