Third Degree Burglary

Etowah County authorities arrest a man in connection to a burglary. Sheriff Todd Entrekin says Rickey Amos of Boaz, has been charged with one count of third degree burglary and one count of second degree theft of property.  Amos is accused of breaking into a residence on November 3, located on Warrior Valley Road.  He stole several items that totaled more than $1,350.  When deputies arrived at the home they found items which belonged to Amos and discovered a vehicle registered to him, with all of the stolen items inside.  Investigators located Amos inside a Marshall County residence, in possession of two handguns which violated the condition of his probation.  Amos is currently being held in the Marshall County Jail and will later be transferred to Etowah County.
