Lowe’s Heroes Project

Thursday, November 20, 2014

Employees from the Lowe’s of Oxford put a new coat of paint and did some gardening for a local not-for profit’s building in time for the holiday season. The Boys and Girls Club of East Central Alabama at Glen Addie benefited from the work of six employees from the Lowe’s of Oxford who gave their time to help improve the safe haven for area youth. Boys and Girls club Chief Professional Officer Johnny Byrd says now that the renovation has taken place the kids are responsible for the maintenance of the volunteer’s good work. Lowe’s Install Sales Manager and volunteer Rachel Lowther says they are glad to help. Today’s service was part of the Lowe’s Heroes Project.
