Lifelong Learning at the Anniston-Calhoun Library

Wednesday, December 3, 2014

The Anniston-Calhoun Public Library encourages its community to pursue lifelong learning with a seminar on learning experiences to teach people to stay socially, physically, and mentally active. The Osher Lifelong Institute provided complimentary food and drinks as their representatives discussed fostering learning in older adults aged 50-years-old and up. OLLI Vice President Shirley DuPont says there are no grades or tests given, just additional learning. The program is sponsored by the University of Alabama and has several hundred chapters throughout the state.
