Alabama State Troopers are reporting six traffic-related deaths during the Thanksgiving travel period. Those deaths were caused by five crashes that occurred in Madison, Dallas, Autauga, Greene and Macon counties. Two of those killed were thrown from an ATV and the remaining four fatalities were involved in car crashes. Two of those four were not wearing seat belts. Last year, troopers reported 11 traffic fatalities during Thanksgiving. Seven of those victims were not wearing seat belts.
