Robbery of Alexandria Huddle House

After hours of searching by authorities, the suspect wanted in a robbery of a local restaurant has turned himself in. The robbery took place at Alexandria’s Huddle House about 1:30 this morning. According to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office, Robert Devlin entered the Huddle House and asked the cashier for change for a dollar. When the cashier opened the register Devlin shoved her to the ground and took money from the register.  A customer saw what happened and tried to stop Devlin in the parking lot. According to Wade, Devlin admitted to authorities that he committed the crime.
