Calhoun County loses a former city of Heflin councilman and local business leader with the death of Mimeger ( MEMEJER) "BUSTER" miles on Sunday night. According to Buster Miles Chevy and Ford Marketing and Sales Representative Haley Gregg, 90-year-old "BUSTER" Miles is survived by his wife Alice Miles, four children and 13 grandchildren. He worked at his first auto store in Anniston with his brother Frank, after returning from a stint in the military in 1947. In 1952, Buster Miles Chevrolet was started when Miles bought a Chevrolet dealership in Heflin. In 2003, Buster Miles Ford was added to the family’s business and it became Buster Miles Auto Group.
