White Christmas: Ohatchee

Tuesday, December 16, 2014

A fifty year old tradition out of Ohatchee High School continues. In 1964, Ohatchee High School needed a project to help needy people in their community. That year, the principal organized White Christmas. Ohatchee High School S-G-A President Faith Walker says it’s a good time and a great opportunity to help in times like these. She shares what the students put together. Ohatchee Alumnae William Legon and Devona Phillips who were part of the first White Christmas say it’s a blessing to be a part of such a movement. The students will partner with the sponsors to deliver all of the food.
