A single-vehicle crash at 5:25 p.m. on Monday has claimed the life of a Roanoke man. 56-year-old Randy Dean Hall was seriously injured when the 2012 Buick Lacrosse he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. Hall was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, and he later died as a result of his injuries. The crash took place on Alabama 21 near mile marker 223, four miles south of Talladega. Hall was not using a seat belt. Nothing further is available as A-L-E-A State Troopers continue to investigate.
