New Executive Appointments: RMC

Earlier in the week, Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center announced new executive appointments. The Northeast Regional Medical Center Board of Directors yesterday announced that Louis Bass has been appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer for the Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center Healthcare System effective December 18. Bass currently serves as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the health system. As, CEO, he will report directly to the Board. In other executive appointment news, Joe Weaver has been named Chief Executive Officer of R-M-C Hospital in Jacksonville and Chief Operating Officer of the Northeast Alabama Regional Healthcare System. Weaver has been with R-M-C for more than 5 years, serving as Chief Operating Officer of the main facility in Anniston. Mark North has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for the R-M-C System. North is a Certified Public Accountant and has been with R-M-C for seven years, serving as Assistant Vice President of Finance and Corporate Compliance Officer. James Tripp Johnson will join R-M-C as Assistant Vice President and Project Management Officer, effective January 4, 2015. His primary role will be to assist R-M-C in putting into operation an extensive strategic plan developed in 2014.
