Christmas Caroling: Calhoun County Jail

A big part of the holiday season is serving the community. And one group is continuing its tradition of serving one segment of the community that’s often overlooked. This is the fifth year that people from three local churches have been Christmas Caroling for inmates at the Calhoun County Jail. It’s something that Sheriff Larry Amerson calls an important part of the season. He talks more about why he allows activities like this inside the jail. The Calhoun County Jail also has a team that ministers to the inmates each week.
