The city of Attalla will open Carnes Recreation Center at 102 Case Avenue South East from Wednesday until Friday from 8:00am – 5:00pm, The George Wallace Senior Center on 407 Hollingsworth Drive in Glencoe will be open Wednesday through Friday from 8:00am until 3:00pm, The Rainbow City Community Center on 3702 Rainbow Drive will open from Wednesday through Friday from 8:00am until 4:00pm, The Southside Community Center at 2142 Highway 77 in Southside will open Wednesday through Friday from 8:30am until noon, the Walnut Grove Recreation Center on Vandiver Street in Walnut Grove is continuously open and will be open on Wednesday beginning at 8:00am until noon on Friday. In Calhoun County, The Salvation Army at 420 Noble Street is continuously open and will open a warming center when the temperature drops below 40 degrees. And, the Carver Community Center at 720 West 14th Street will open as a warming center from 1:00pm Wednesday until 8:00am on Saturday, also the Piedmont Civic Center at 500 Mill Street will open upon request.
