Pets Left at Humane Society During Cold: Anniston

During these dangerously cold snaps like we’ve seen this week, taking care of pets can be difficult. The best way to keep those family pets safe from winter weather is to bring then inside. However, instead of doing that this week, many families have turned their pets over to the Cheaha Regional Humane Society Shelter. And Executive Director Angie Persch says that’s putting a real strain on their resources. Persch says euthanizing some of the animals is something they may have to do this coming week. So, she says to come in and look at the dogs and cats and consider adoption. For more information visit their Facebook Page at Cheaha Regional Humane Society.
