Chemical Endangerment

Saturday, January 17, 2015

A medical report shows that a four-month old baby from Anniston had Methamphetamines in his system when he died last summer. Anniston police arrested the baby’s mother, Tyelyn Kay Sanders after getting the medical results this week. Officers were called to the family’s home on Buggy Lane on August 10, 2014 for a report of a baby who wasn’t breathing. The four-month old was pronounced dead at Regional Medical Center. Police say two other children in the home also had Meth in their bloodstream. Those children were removed from the home and placed in the custody of the Department of Human Resources. Sanders is charged with three counts of Chemical Endangerment.
