Heflin Police Arrests Mutiple Criminals

Multiple criminals were arrested this week by Heflin Police for selling methamphetamines, possessing 13 pounds of marijuana, and for fraudulent debit and credit card usage. Heflin Police Department Chief A.J Benefield says that the last few days have been productive for his department. He says that when you take a drug dealer off the street you take a thief off the street as well. And, most people are in jail for drugs and those drugs are predominantly methamphetamines. He says his job is to take the crime off the streets. The department also arrested a person wanted in multiple counties and states for selling drugs and breaking a federal probation out of Washington, D.C.
