The Help Wanted Online

Wednesday, January 28, 2015

Employers placed more than 5,800 online ads for truck drivers, registered nurses, and retail supervisors in December. The data was collected and analyzed by the Alabama Department of Labor’s Labor Market Information Division. Communications Director Tara Hutchison says today’s job-seeker needs to be well informed. The Help Wanted Online data is compiled from all online job postings in the state, including those posted on the state’s free online jobs database and other sources, such as traditional job boards, corporate boards, and social media sites. There were more than 41,000 online ads this month.
