Landon Collins, Blake Sims & Jalston Fowler Visit Gadsden

Former Alabama stars Landon Collins (safety), Blake Sims (quarterback) and Jalston Fowler (running back) will look to make big plays in the NFL this fall, but before they make the jump to the NFL, they're taking time to say thank you to their Tide fans.

The three players were in Gadsden on Saturday to sign autographs and meet fans at Flowers by Rita. Gadsden Mayor Sherman Guyton started the visit by giving the trio keys to the city. After that, the players spent hours with fans who came from as far as Indiana to the event. Collins is projected as a first round selection and he spoke about getting ready for the next level.

Before coming to Gadsden, Sims led a camp for youth football players at Pell City High School. He says he loves to give back to the people that helped and supported him during his time in Tuscaloosa.

Fowler is looking to add his name to the list of NFL running backs from Alabama- joining the likes of Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson and 2013-14 rookie of the year Eddie Lacy. Fowler went to the Senior Bowl which is run by NFL personnel and says he feels comfortable with the transition.

Next up, Sims and Collins will get another chance to impress the scouts at the NFL Combine on Feb. 17-23rd in Indianapolis.
