Dancing With Our Stars 2015: Anniston
Did you know that your local pharmacist could Tango? Or, maybe you’ve just learned that a prominent area attorney could do the Cha-Cha? If you’d like the opportunity to see local business men and women transformed into area stars of dance performance…there’s only one place to be in March in Calhoun County…And that place is at the Anniston Rotary Club Presentation of Dancing With Our Stars 2015. The Anniston Noon Rotary Club is partnering with the Anniston Morning Rotary Club to bring you dancers partnered with local personalities. The event will take place on March 7th at the Anniston Performing Arts Center at Anniston High School at 6:30 pm. General admission tickets will be 25-dollars. A V-I-P ticket for the show which includes admission to an after party is 90-dollars. Hurd says tickets can be purchased from any of the "Dancing" Stars or noon and morning Rotary members. She adds that they will have plenty of outlets for information on the event. The fundraiser began more than 7 years ago. And, in the previous 6 seasons has raised more than 271-thousand dollars for local charities.
This year the charity event will be helping to raise money for 14 charities, some of which include the Y-M-C-A of Calhoun County, Interfaith Ministries, the Boys and Girls Club and Preschool Friends at Grace Episcopal.
