A Glencoe man faces six traffic charges and is in the Etowah Detention Center after being captured by police this morning. 40-year-old Jerome Curd was wanted for a bank burglary in Pell City on Sunday. Curd was pulled over at about 1:00am this morning by an officer in a stolen 2000 G-M-C Sierra. According to Glencoe Police Chief Jonathon Horton, the truck had no tag and the driver was operating the vehicle erratically. Curd was arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, among other offenses. Curd was identified by video as the suspect in the Union State Bank main branch burglary. Authorities say they also recovered stolen car stereo equipment inside the vehicle.
