Yellow Dot Program: Jacksonville
A program that will help to effectively relay information to emergency response teams in the event of a vehicle accident is underway at the Jacksonville Police Department. The department initiated the Yellow Dot Program earlier this week and they are encouraging local residents to come and participate. Police Records Clerk Micki Lipscomb says all you have to do is visit the station and they will provide you with a folder that will give response crews important information. There are also yellow dots for motorcycles. Those dots will go on the vehicle tags. The Yellow Dot Program is available to drivers of all ages and is at no cost.
