The 35th Annual Black Heritage Festival is set for tomorrow at the Anniston Museum of Natural History. Organizers say it is the longest running festival in the state of Alabama and it includes free admission to both of the on-site museums. Those museums are the Anniston Museum of Natural History and the Berman Museum of World History. Programs Manager Gina Morey says the community should come prepared for a day full of fun and informational activities. This year’s theme, "A 35 Year Dream, an Ongoing Journey," illustrates the passion and dedication of Black Heritage Festival founder and coordinator Georgia Calhoun. The event begins at 10:00am and ends at 3:00pm.
