Domestic abuse survivors in several Alabama counties are getting some much needed assistance in the form of domestic violence grants.  The grants will help fund programs to prosecute domestic violence cases, investigate cases, provide counseling to victims, and fund a domestic violence unit.  The Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs says Governor Robert Bentley has awarded more than $38,000 to the Marion County Commission, more than $85,000 to Escambia County and more than $49,600 to the Marshall County District Attorney's office.
