A couple of robbers find themselves in jail after breaking in and stealing property from vehicles parked at several residences in Etowah County. The thefts took place on March 10 in Wilson Circle, Whorton Bend. 25-year-old Emanuel Thomas of Rainbow City and 23-year-old Arthur Thomas of Gadsden are each charged with two counts of unlawful breaking and entering of a vehicle, one count of second degree theft of property, and one count of third degree theft of property. The investigation is ongoing concerning vehicle break-ins and thefts in the same area that took place during the week of March 1 through March 7. It is unknown at this time if the two men are connected to the earlier thefts. Both men are currently being held in the Etowah County Detention Center on a $8,500 bond.
