Dillard’s department store of Quintard Mall hosts a major bra fitting event for a good cause. The store along with bra company Wacoal invited women from around our region to step into one of their dressing rooms and join the fight against breast cancer. Customers attended the Fit for the Cure event, today. Local Wacoal fit specialists helped to determine their true bra size and for every woman who participated, Wacoal donated $2 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The donation is to help fund breast cancer research and community outreach projects. No purchase was necessary. Estee Lauder Selling Business Manager Leigh Rice says Dillard’s is committed to this movement. Nationally, to date, Fit for the Cure has donated more than $4 million to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, held 14,000 Fit for the Cure events, and has Fit over 660,000 women. Wacoal pledged to make a guaranteed minimum donation of $250,000 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
