Three Gadsden Natives Arrested in Cherokee County

Cherokee County deputies arrest three Gadsden residents, Nickey Adrian Jenkins, Crystal June Terry, and Jonathan Michael Jackson on multiple charges after attempting to elude a Deputy. The Deputy noticed a vehicle speeding on Country Road 32 and he tried to stop it, the driver attempted to flee but lost control and ran into a ditch. One of the occupants threw a container out of the vehicle before it came to rest in a yard at the intersection of County Roads 32 and 19. The suspects were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance, attempting to elude a police officer, and tampering with physical evidence. Jenkins, Terry, and Jackson were transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center were they remain awaiting a bond hearing. This case remains under investigation.
